Traffic Accident, Ensuing Argument Leads To Felony Arrest In Milford

MILFORD – A traffic incident that escalated to an argument led to the arrest of a Syracuse man Wednesday afternoon.

Stephen Ambrozy, 68, of 111 E. Hayden St., Syracuse, was booked into the Kosciusko County jail on one count of intimidation with a weapon after he allegedly pointed a gun at another man Wednesday afternoon. Ambrozy’s bond was set at $5,000.

According to the Syracuse Police Department, Ambrozy and Bobby Edwards, 20, of County Line Road, Syracuse, reportedly were involved in a traffic incident. The men pulled into the U.S. Post Office parking lot at 1010 N. Indiana Avenue, Milford, and got involved in an argument. During the altercation, Ambrozy allegedly pulled out a gun, pointed it and then threatened Edwards.

Officer Tom Waikel of the Syracuse Police Department responded to the scene, confiscated the weapon and made the arrest.

Intimidation with a weapon is a Class C felony that carries a punishment of up to eight years in jail and up to $10,000 in fines.
