03-03-2007A Warsaw man remains in critical condition with head injuries from a crash that occurred on Ind. 25, south of CR 250S. Friday afternoon.
Johnny E. Frame III, 25, Warsaw, was transported to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, after the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a personal injury accident at 3:22 p.m. Friday.
Upon arrival, deputies found Frame trapped in a 1987 white Dodge truck. The truck was traveling south on Ind. 25 approximately 350 feet south of 250 South when it left the western edge of the roadway.
Officials said there was no indication of why Frame left the roadway and he was unable to provide information about the incident due to his injuries.
The truck struck two sets of trees once exiting the roadway. The first set of trees struck the passenger side of the vehicle and the second set of trees impacted the driver’s side door.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT Team and the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department. The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department was assisted at the scene by Multi-Township EMS, the Warsaw Fire Department and the Kosciusko County FACT Team.
