Driver Blacks Out, Van Hits House In North Webster

NORTH WEBSTER –ÊA Warsaw woman suffered minor injuries when she crashed her minivan into a North Webster home Tuesday morning.

Alyssa J. Schmucker, 35, McKenna Road, Warsaw, complained of neck pain after her blue Ford Windstar crashed into a house at 203 W. Huntington St., North Webster, around 9:03 a.m. Tuesday.

The home, owned by Becky Keefer, sustained minor damage in the incident. No one in the house was injured.

Schmucker told police she left a business in North Webster around 9 a.m. Tuesday and was not feeling well. The next thing she remembers is waking up with medics talking to her.

Schmucker’s blood sugar was low when medics checked, and it could have caused her to black out.

Schmucker was treated at Kosciusko Community Hospital for a stiff neck.

The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department investigated the accident.
