Those who look through the new Speigel catalog may recognize a familiar face in the "kid's room" section. Remington Hart, 9-year-old son of Al and Raeann Hart, Warsaw, is shown on pages 412 and 413. He is a fourth-grade student at Redeemer Lutheran School.

August 29 1978

Four area 4-H youths received market beef steer honors at the Indiana State Fair.

In the section 6301-A Aberdeen-Angus class, Lanty Lahr received two ribbons and Tod Krom received one. They are both from North Manchester.

In section 6301-C, Brent Shrader of Columbia City and Melany Rookstool of Warsaw each earned ribbons.

August 29 1953

Glen Field, of Nappanee, will become Indiana state publicity director of the American Legion and editor of the Hoosier Legionnaire next Monday.

Field has been a prominent Legionnaire at Nappanee since joining the organization in 1946.

Colonel O.B. Kilmre, Warsaw's postmaster, departed this morning for Lafayette, where the annual reunion of the 160th Regiment, Spanish-American veterans, is in session.
