Howard J. Hull Jr., principal of Wawasee High School, Syracuse, will receive the 1982 IUSB Distinguished Education Alumnus Award at the fifth annual Indiana University at South Bend education brunch March 13.
Dr. Hull's award recognizes his contributions to Hoosier education.

Mrs. A.W. Tripp was elected president of the Warsaw Magazine club at a recent meeting at the home of Mrs. George Henderson, West Porter Street.
Others named to the executive board are Mrs. Merle Tripp, first vice president; Mrs. O.L. Sumner, second vice president; Wilma Scott, secretary; Mrs. Henderson, assistant secretary; Mrs. J.W. Whiteneck, treasurer; and Mrs. John Gillette, assistant treasurer.

Beaver Dam upset Warsaw, 13 to 9, to carry off the 1932 sectional honors in one of the greatest defensive contests ever stated in the county.
Warsaw, favored to win this decisive encounter, was unable to break through the Beaver defense and secured but three field goals during the entire game.
