BOURBON – Sweeping the doubles competition and winning at No. 1 singles, Triton’s varsity girls tennis team downed visiting Bethany Christian 3-2 Monday afternoon.
The win improved the Trojans to 7-0 on the season.
Triton picked up wins at No. 1 doubles with Kelly Whiteman and Lena Miller, at No. 2 doubles with Holly Heckaman and Samantha Keel, and No. 1 singles with Angela Wilcox.
Triton is in action again Thursday at Northern State Conference foe Jimtown.

Monday at North Judson
The Tippecanoe Valley baseball team fell to 6-10 on the season after an 8-7 loss to North Judson in nine innings Monday evening. A solo homerun by North Judson in the bottom of the seventh forced extra innings, and a home run in the bottom of the ninth gave North Judson the win. Brandon Cody led the Vikings with a 4-for-5 performance at the plate, including a double and two RBIs. Valley hosts Bethany Christian tonight at 4:30 p.m.
