Valley Tennis Picks Up Fourth TRC Win; Still Undefeated In Conference Play

WABASH –ÊThe Tippecanoe Valley tennis team improved to 4-0 in the Three Rivers Conference Thursday by defeating Southwood 3-2.

The Vikings swept the singles competition as Kelly Sanders, Linda Weller and Chris Swanson each picked up wins.

The win moves Valley’s record to 7-5 overall. The Vikings face off against Northfield at home Monday afternoon.

The Tippecanoe Valley softball team defeated Southwood 9-5 in a Three Rivers Conference matchup Wednesday evening in Akron. Alicia Terpstra led the Vikings by going 2 for 4 at the plate with a two run homer. The win moves Valley’s record to 14-4 overall and 3-1 in TRC play. The Vikings host Northfield tonight.

The Warsaw golf team improved to 3-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference after defeating Elkhart Memorial 150-173 Thursday night. Jon Clevenger led the Tiger attack, shooting a one-under par 35. Warsaw is 10-2 overall.
