Born in Warsaw, David Slone is a life-long resident of Indiana and joined the Times-Union in August 1998. A former intern with the Indiana Special Olympics and Indianapolis Star, he is a 1998 Butler University graduate with a bachelorŐs degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish.
